This project reimagines a 500 sq ft apartment defined by a quarter-circle footprint, originally over-partitioned into two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The initial configuration produced fragmented and non-pragmatic spaces that compromised spatial clarity and everyday livability.
The redesign consolidates the plan into a compact studio, removing excessive partitions to establish a more open and coherent spatial arrangement. The design approach relies on meticulous subtraction and decluttering of spaces, complemented by careful spatial planning and integrated storage strategies. The new layout maximizes efficiency, functionality, and comfort, expressed through a refined modern-classic interior language.
